Product Description

"The 2014 Narbantons from Domaine Camus shows a touch of black fruit in its aromatics and flavors this year from its reduced yields, offering up a young and promising nose of black cherries, violets, pomegranate, gamebird, stony soil tones, woodsmoke and a topnote of Savigny spices. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with chewy, very well-integrated tannins, lovely focus and grip and a very long, primary finish. This is going to be outstanding . . .” John Gilman, View From the Cellar, 93 points

"A perfumed and admirably pure nose offers up a dazzling array of aromas that include dark currant, plum, lilac and discreet spice nuances. There is both good richness and fine volume to the well-detailed and delicious medium weight flavors that possess a suave mouth feel thanks to the abundant dry extract before terminating in a firm but not really austere finish that delivers excellent length on the balanced and palate coating finish. Good stuff that is worth a look provided that you have the patience to cellar it for at least 5 to 6 years first." Burghound 91 points.
